Yes, we've done it! We've developed and produced the 5 pin socket, so you can now plug-and-play a switch extension - no cutting or soldering needed.

Supplied fully assembled, no pinning required.

This loom extends the looms for ALL 5 pin Defender dash switches, typically required when fitting a double-DIN head unit facia in Tdci/Puma Defenders and the switch requires relocation.

Suitable for 2002 to 2016 Defenders (Td5 'square button' dash through to the end of Tdci/Puma production) - for the following switches:

• rear washer switch
• rear wiper switch
• front heated screen switch
• rear heated screen switch
• traction control (DSC) switch (2015+ Tdci/Puma)
• rear fog light switch
• spot light switch
• heated seat switch
• air conditioning switch (Tdci/Puma)

Also suitable for Discovery 2 switches, Freelander Mk1 switches, Discovery 1 binnacle switches, Discovery 3 spot light switch, Range Rover L322 spot light switch, some Range Rover Classic switches and other Rover Group (car) applications of the 5 pin switch.

Currently available as a length of 50 cm or 1 metre.

As standard our extensions are wired with 4 wires as pin 3 is unused on virtually all switches.

Pin 3 is only used for Freelander and D1/Range Rover Classic air con and recirculate switches, we can build with all 5 wires if you select the drop-down option.

Available with black, green, blue or white switch plugs, or as a universal plug option (fits to any switch).
