Product Information

This is a diagnostic kit for temporary use with the Webasto Thermo Top V and Vevo fuel burning heaters (FBH) as fitted to Land Rover Discovery 3, Discovery 4 and Range Rover Sport (2005-2013) diesel models.

Allows fault finding, component test and heater operation using the Webasto Thermo Test software. See www.disco3.co.uk/fbh for more.

The loom connects to the vehicle battery (requiring removal of the battery cover) with crocodile clips, and to the FBH with an 8 pin plug.


The connection for the OBD adapter included as standard (see below) is provided by an OBD socket, no fiddling with getting pins in the right place on the adapter's plug!

The "Right Hand Drive" version has shorter connections to the crocodile clips, suitable for the battery position close to the FBH on RHD cars. The "Left Hand Drive" version has longer cables to reach the battery on the other side of the engine bay.

Can also be used for other applications of the TTV and TTV evo fuel burning heaters - e.g. Jaguar, BMW. Not suitable for VW, Audi or Skoda heaters as the 8 pin connector is not the VAG type. 

If you are intending to use it on a non-Land Rover vehicle please buy the "Left Hand Drive" version so you have enough wire to reach the car battery or other 12V source on the car (e.g. under-bonnet positive terminal on BMWs).

IMPORTANT: this kit now by default includes a USB to OBD2 adapter for K-line communications, fully tested and working with the Webasto software. If you have an adapter already it can be deselected.
